The Strasberg legacy. A digital exhibition retracing in detail the history of the realist acting school, from its birth in Russia to the Organic Creative Process taught by John Strasberg.
The exhibition is narrated by Strasberg himself, through rare interviews with him under the portico of the church of Sant'Antonio di Padova at Art Aia - Creatives / In / Residence, and in Berlin where Strasberg remembers his visit, during the 1960s, in the German capital with his family, shortly after the construction of the wall. Within their online exhibition, there are also many curiosities about Marylin Monroe and her relationship with her coach Paula, second wife of Lee Strasberg and mother of John and Susan.
This exhibition allows the public to discover what lies behind the famous Method Acting, the Strasberg family and the Actors Studio in New York.
The statements of Giovanni Morassutti, a representative actor of Method acting and creator of the exhibition: "I am very happy that my project is recognized. I believe that good art, like good theater, is able to tell the truth and that it is essential to reconnect with our emotions especially in this moment of change. The search for truth in artistic expression is fundamentally the basis of the work of the realist acting school ”.
