Palais de Tokyo

The Palais de Tokio is a contemporary art center, among the largest and most important in Europe. It is located not far from the Eiffel Tower. The Palais de Tokio is one of the most important contemporary art exhibition centers in France: you can visit numerous contemporary art exhibitions and events. The building was inaugurated in 1937, on the occasion of the Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques. Today's name takes its name from the street on which the building was built: Quai de Tokyo, now Avenue de New York. Currently the Palais consists of two wings: the east wing, which houses the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, and the west wing. which contains the Center for Contemporary Art , within which is the École de Paris, an artists' association. The Palace is made up of immense spaces, divided into three floors, with large rooms that allow artists to install works of all sizes, often immersive and interactive.
