The Musée de la Libération de Paris - Musée du général Leclerc - Musée Jean Moulin is a Paris museum located in the 14th arrondissement of the city, above the Montparnasse station, from which it is directly accessible. The Museum is dedicated to the period of occupation and liberation from the Nazis in France. The museum is also dedicated to brave men who played an important role in the events of the Liberation of Paris: General Philippe Leclerc de Hautecloque, armed wing of the liberators, and Jean Moulin, organizer of the Resistance and founder of the Clandestine State. The Museum was conceived by specialists and scholars of the Second World War. The collection brings together objects, photographs and documents of the time, also making extensive use of audiovisual techniques. Admission to the museum is free, with the exception of temporary exhibitions that are sometimes set up.
