The Nederlands Tegelmuseum is the Dutch tile museum .
Its collection includes over 10,000 inventory numbers, of which only a part is on permanent display . The museum also talks about the technique of sealing and painting tiles. The historical development of the Dutch tile is also made visible. In addition to the tile fields and individual tiles, the collection also contains large, multicolored scenes.
From 10 May 2019, the Nederlands Tegelmuseum also hosts the Helene Kröller-Müller tile collection.
Since 2014 the museum has had the Happy Elephant designed by Judith Laqueur-Révész in its collection. This work of art has been on the facade of the holiday residence of Queen Juliana and Prince Bernardo in Porto Ercole for more than 50 years.
