The Oswestry Town Museum in the small town of Oswestry is the local history museum. At the center of the permanent exhibition is the "Timeline", which aims to map the history of the city from its dawn to the present day. The hall has exhibits on various topics from area geology to Oswestry Town Football Club and includes exhibits dedicated to Llanymynech Limeworks, The Welsh Guards, and an interesting exhibit on loan from the Waterloo Society.
