The exhibition “ Sardegna Megalithic Island. From menhirs to nuraghi: stories of stone in the heart of the Mediterranean "comes to MANN , the only Italian stop, after the success achieved at three prestigious institutes: the National Museum for Prehistory and Protohistory in Berlin, the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg and the National Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki .
Sardinia Megalithic Island : the millenary history of the island told in a major international exhibition. The only Italian stage of the route is scheduled at MANN from 10 June to 11 September 2022 The event is promoted by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia as part of the multi-year Heritage Tourism project dedicated to archeology. Exceptional loan: one of the famous and enigmatic Giants of Mont'e Prama.
The exhibition, scheduled in the Salone della Meridiana of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples from 10 June to 11 September 2022 , reveals to the public suggestive stories, material testimonies, fascinating civilizations, in many ways still to be discovered.
Promoted by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia - Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce, with the National Archaeological Museum of Cagliari, the Regional Directorate of Museums of Sardinia and, for the Neapolitan stage, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, the event has obtained the patronage of the MAECI and the MIC and avails itself of the collaboration of the Foundation of Sardinia and the general coordination of Villaggio Globale International.
