Aron Demetz is an avant-garde sculptor whose research is focused on the human figure, considered a vehicle of classical ideals such as formal purity from which the ethical content of art emerges. His artistic production bridges the gap between ancient and contemporary. the “Autarchia” exhibition will present to the public a suggestive succession of sculptures of various sizes and materials, made expressly for the museum spaces.The works are inspired by the Farnese and Egizia collections and follow dynamic and postural settings that interact with the classical archetype.
