The Center for Contemporary Art The Convent is located in the city of Monteciccardo, in the province of Pesaro Urbino. The museum was founded thanks to donations from some artists who participated in the eighties to the contemporary art exhibition "Borderline". In 2003 the collection has been cataloged, documented and made accessible to the public by means of five rooms dell'allestimento site in the Cloister. They are featured in the show about fifty works by Italian and foreign artists historicized. The works are sculptures, installations, paintings, photographs, drawings; almost all the work was done in the 80s except a small group of new works acquired in 2003, signed by young artists from the Marche. Among the most important works include installation in Eliseo Mattiacci iron, a wooden sculpture of Hidetoshy Nagasawa, an environmental installation by Claudio Costa, an installation by Christian Cassar, a shaped iron sculpture of "Prue" Gabriele Days . The Museum also offers several opportunities for reflection on contemporary art through exhibitions and art education workshops for school children.
