Photographic exhibition featuring the patronal festivals of Molfetta, Ruvo, Giovinazzo, and Terlizzi. Four moments where the community gathers, where those who live far away come back home to participate in the most important event of the year. The exhibition is part of the initiatives derived from the theme of the holy year, looking at the material and immaterial heritage from different perspectives, along the common thread of devotion. The Jubilee Pilgrims of Hope focuses on the virtue of hope, the foundation of Christian life together with the other two theological virtues - faith and charity - calling everyone to be responsible builders of a better world. The cities of the Diocese and their festivals around which the community of believers gathers are told by four photographers, Roberto Lusito, Dino Mottola, Maria Pansini, Biagio Stragapede, who through a visual story express values of hope, unity, and community life. These festivals are the reason why loved ones meet, people return from afar, embrace in hope, and become pilgrims, even over short distances, in joy and sharing, intrinsic characteristics of festivals that combine tradition, folklore, art, and faith. In particular, the rituals and festivals considered are the Feast of the Madonna dei Martiri for Molfetta, the Octave Feast of Corpus Domini for Ruvo di Puglia, the Feast of the Madonna di Corsignano for Giovinazzo, and the Feast of the Madonna di Sovereto for Terlizzi. 80 shots that will surely move everyone. The exhibition is promoted by the Diocesan Museum Foundation, in collaboration with FeArT, Digressione Music, DOT Studio, and Fatti d’Arte, and with the patronage of Patroni di Puglia, the Committee of Patronal Festivals of Molfetta, the Committee of Patronal Festivals of Ruvo di Puglia, the Committee of Patronal Festivals of Giovinazzo, and the Committee of Patronal Festivals of Maria Ss. di Sovereto.
