Ancient sources, handwritten chronicles, treatises, projects and splendid engraved tables exhibited in Modena at the Estense Galleries, in the Sala Campori of the Estense Library.

For the exhibition "Spectacular machines in the collections of the Estense Library", the Estense Galleries show an extraordinary review that documents the use of the machine in the theater and in the show, the use of devices and mechanisms for the realization of particular scenic actions and for creating visual and sound effects.

Open to the public starting from Friday 18 September , with special times during the Philosophy Festival which this year is dedicated to the theme of the Machine, the exhibition, curated by Grazia Maria De Rubeis, will continue until 9 January 2021.
