Villa Necchi Campiglio is a designer villa thirties in the heart of Milan. The Villa was donated to FAI in 2001. Villa Necchi Campiglio was designed in the '30s by Piero Portaluppi by the will of Nedda Necchi sisters and Gigina and Angelo Campiglio, husband of Gigina. The building is in a lovely green space, where the tennis courts and the swimming pool have been designed. Of great importance are the deco furnishings, objects of everyday use, and of course the works of art that embellish the architecture. The legacy of the collections de 'Micheli and Gian Ferrari included works by: Tiepolo, Canaletto, Sironi, De Chirico, Martini and Wildt. Since 2017, the villa was enriched Guido Sforni Collection of 21 works on paper of the twentieth-century artists like Picasso, Modigliani, Fontana, Matisse and many others. The Villa is open to the public since 2001 and is managed by the FAI organizes events within the garden.
