The work of the Franco-Algerian artist Neïl Beloufa (Paris, 1985; lives and works in Paris) revolves around an in-depth research on the relationships between moving image, sound, installation and sculpture, creating immersive environments where the viewer's gaze it is an integral part. His installations include different materials and techniques and often leave the technological components and digital devices of which they are made evident, with explicit references to contemporary subculture.
The exhibition is the artist's first solo exhibition in Italy and brings together a rich selection of works, including films, installations and sculptures. The presence of sound and moving images, together with the stratification of objects arranged in the environment, contribute to the emergence of narratives in which visual culture and pop references intertwine.
