From 13 to 21 July the Stelline Foundation hosts the "Bauer From A to B" exhibition in the Cloister, an exhibition of the projects carried out by the students of the Bauer Professional Training Center of Afol Metropolitana.
The exhibition features 225 works, including photographs and videos, created by the 200 students who attended courses in photography, visual communication and illustration in the year 2018-2019. It is an exhibition itinerary, set up in the cloister of the Stelline Foundation, which is the result of the students' work on the themes proposed in the classroom, with a reflection on the work of Leonardo da Vinci.
In the Verdi room there is a modular sculpture created by the students of the Video Projection Mapping course with the help and supervision of teacher Fabio Volpi. Students worked on the concept of optical perceptions and illusions, taking as a visual reference Victor Vasarely and Maurits Cornelis Escher. Also in the room are the videos made within the Motion Design paths, inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci, together with those of Cinema 4D and the short documentaries made by the students of the Videomaking course. Every job comes from a didactic and research path. Laboratory activities and workshops with incursions by European professionals, together with the contribution of teachers, well-known professionals in multimedia and visual communication.
This year the exhibition is enriched by two projects by Afol Moda students, a professional training school in the fashion design sector. Reflection on the work of Leonardo da Vinci, through the women's collection "Leosophia", inspired by the multifaceted genius of Leonardo da Vinci. And the children's collection inspired by an illustrated fairy tale created by a former student of the Bauer.
"Supporting the paths for the formation of the new generations is one of the main objectives of the Stelline Foundation and the collaboration with Afol Metropolitana is ever closer", underlines the president PierCarla Delpiano. "The exhibition of the works of the students of the CFP Bauer is now becoming an indispensable appointment, but this year we also wanted to put them to the test, because two students enrolled in their Photography course were selected to take part in our communication project through Instagram "Leonardo Influencer", supported and promoted by Fondazione Stelline, Yes Milano, LabCom of the Catholic University and Afol Metropolitana ".
"The collaboration with the Stelline Foundation continues, which this year has also chosen to host the works of the Bauer students," says Mario Donno, president of Afol Metropolitana. "This place, so attentive to art and its diffusion, enhances the projects of the new generations who have chosen a path of higher education".
For over half a century the CFP Bauer has been training photography and visual communication professionals, providing quality training proposals and according to a logic of constant updating and development of skills in contemporary professionalism.
