The event

I'll Watch You Burn is the first of three symposia belonging to the research project between Art & Science by the Artist Federica Di Carlo which on Sunday 3 April is hosted by the Museum of Science in Milan as part of Art Week 2022 on the occasion of miart, the international fair of modern and contemporary art of Milan.

The project, winner of the 10th edition of the Italian Council - the international promotion program of Italian art of the General Direction for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture - was born from the collaboration of the artist with the scientists of the ESO, INAF and IAC research centers that are working on the Laser Guide Star for AO experiment, the creation of an artificial star in the sky, called the Guide Star, at the Roque de los Muchachos Astronomical Observatory on the island of La Palma (Canary Islands).
