The exhibition is part of an ongoing project of connection and exchange between spaces for independent art projects in Milan and Berlin, which takes shape starting from an idea by Spazienne (Milan) and Elisabeth Sonneck (super bien! Berlin). It is a journey of encounter that intends to make visible the value of the diversity of approaches to artistic work, research and exchange and, above all, the irreplaceable role that independent spaces play for experimental artistic development and the expansion of public confrontation.

ROUND TRIP is active to contribute to the international networking of exchange between the research created and conveyed by the artistic spaces and the people who compose them. It was born fluid and with the will to know how to decline and expand, to respect the same values of which it is the bearer.

After the first exhibition in Berlin, at the Pavillon am Milchhof, this second appointment includes a wide selection of spaces and artists from both cities. The choice of artists and works on display, in dialogue with each space, was defined in order to highlight the characteristics of each project. The sum of all the works is the manifestation of identities within the same containing space.
