From 14 December to 20 January 2019
Exhibition dedicated to the three members who have been part of the annual artistic commission of the Permanente 2017/2018. The exhibition presents about forty works including sculptures, paintings and drawings, and allows you to discover a cross-section of the work of the three artists. Carlo Catiri , Giulio Crisanti and Alfredo Mazzotta tell their stories in their three different "paths".
Carlo Catiri proposes "Silenti", as a way out of the existential disorder, to take us towards a dimension in which silence and quiet contemplation take over. Nature and trees are the subjects of his latest artistic research, as silent testimonies of a neglected and tragically violated world.
Giulio Crisanti considers history and news as the fulcrum of his artistic work. In "August 14, 2018 - Zona a Traffic Interdetto" he analyzes the chronicle of the collapse of the Morandi bridge in Genoa and translates the emotion into chromatic and sign tensions.
Alfredo Mazzotta , with his "Sinuous Sequences (from Brera to Brera)" introduces us to his world with a series of works from the 70s to today. The protagonists of his works are contorted figures, like archetypes of soft stylization that recall the sinuosity of female bodies.
