From 11 February to 18 July 2021
The work of the Franco-Algerian artist Neïl Beloufa (Paris, 1985; lives and works in Paris) revolves around an in-depth research on the relationships between moving image, sound, installation and sculpture, creating immersive environments of which the viewer's gaze it is an integral part. His installations include different materials and techniques and often highlight the technological components and digital devices of which they are composed, with explicit references to the contemporary subculture.
The exhibition is the artist's first solo show in Italy and brings together a rich selection of works, including films, installations and sculptures. The presence of sound and moving images, together with the layering of objects arranged in the environment, combine to bring out narratives in which visual culture and pop references intertwine.
