The next image , an exhibition project produced by Contrasto in collaboration with Fondazione Forma per la Fotografia and Contrasto Galleria, opens on Wednesday 30 September 2020 at 3 pm at Forma Meravigli , Milan. The exhibition, which will remain open until December 18 , collects and compares a series of ancient and precious nineteenth-century albumins, coming from the Antonetto Fund of the Forma per la Fotografia Foundation, with the recent, unusual, colorful digital elaborations of the American photographer Bill Armstrong.

Forma Meravigli is an initiative of the Forma per la Fotografia Foundation in collaboration with the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi and Contrasto Chamber of Commerce.

Henri Cartier Bresson defined cinema as the image d'après, the image that comes after or the next image; the one that is difficult to stop in the cinematic sequence, in its flow. But also what we are waiting for, which we know will come and transform the previous image, giving it new life and new meaning.
