From 23 May to 6 September 2020
In the intimacy of his confinement in Milan , Kris Ruhs brings quarantine into a new dynamic relationship with his creative process, through the discipline of one drawing a day.
Much more than the physical constraint , the artist transfers the quarantine that he himself is physically experiencing to the confines of a single flat surface.
As he fills each page of his "diary" with the phases of isolation, death and despair common to us all - the intellectual and emotional responses of courage, fear, humor, depression, beauty and resignation emerge in these "fragments" as one of his individual response to reality.
