Pirelli HangarBicocca presents - from October 10, 2024, to February 2, 2025 - "Jean Tinguely", the most extensive retrospective held in Italy after the artist's passing.

The exhibition will seek to highlight the radical and experimental nature of Jean Tinguely, among the artists who have shaped the history of 20th-century art, emphasizing his relevance in the present and his contemporary significance today. The exhibition path includes over thirty works created from the 1950s to the 1990s that will occupy the 5,000 square meters of the Navate di Pirelli HangarBicocca, giving life to a unique sound and visual choreography formed by the most representative works of his artistic journey, from seminal to monumental kinetic ones.

The exhibition "Jean Tinguely" is organized by Pirelli HangarBicocca in collaboration with the Tinguely Museum in Basel. The exhibition project is curated by Camille Morineau, Lucia Pesapane, and Vicente Todolí with Fiammetta Griccioli.

The Jean Tinguely exhibition is part of the cultural events schedule organized to celebrate the artist's centenary (1925-2025).
