From 8 to 21 March the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan (Spazio Alveare Culturale) hosts the personal exhibition of the artist Andrea Gallotti "Identity and Difference", curated by Barbara Magliocco. The exhibition organized by Zowe Art with the support of IMAGO Art Gallery offers the public the opportunity to immerse themselves in the artistic world of Andrea Gallotti and to explore the complex interconnections between identity, equality and repetition. His pictorial gesture is based on repetitiveness, nothing is static, everything is evolving in his works.

“Gallotti presents in his work a new way of dealing with repetition. According to the artist, experience must be the basis of relationships between us and the world. The signs emerge as similarities, but maintain their differences – says curator Barbara Magliocco . The artist repeats gestures, strokes and movements, creating a composition of infinite variables and possibilities. The difference in repetition lies in the fact that there is always something that escapes in the artist's production, in the moment of creation, in the phenomenon of the stroke and the gesture".

Inspired by Heidegger's theories, the exhibition explores how identity is distinct from equality and how repetition can reveal rather than erase differences. The exhibition promises to be a stimulating opportunity to reflect on the way we perceive and communicate experiences in contemporary society.
