From 21 May to 28 December 2025
The exhibition GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVÉ 2005-2025 opens at Armani/Silos, Twenty years of Haute Couture: an overview, curated by Giorgio Armani himself, through two decades of Haute Couture created under the sign of an unmistakable style. The exhibition explores the themes of a vision in which pure form and precious fabrics celebrate beauty in a narrative declined in the present. Because fashion creation, when authentic, is timeless.
Presented for the first time in 2005 in Paris, the capital of Haute Couture, the collection Giorgio Armani Privé is born from the conception of a modern creativity, expressed through refined lines, exquisite workmanship, and jewel-like embroideries, immediately standing out as a new interpretation of the Armani style, both complementary and alternative to prêt-à-porter, united by the search for a linear, elegant, and refined signature.
With his Haute Couture, Giorgio Armani offers a surprising interpretation of his idea of elegance, opening up to new adventures, evoking distant places and atmospheres, sketching a calm and seductive allure. Here the designer dares, experiments, gives space to fantasy, but retains his proverbial concreteness and does not forget the needs of a particularly attentive clientele. With his feet firmly on the ground, he dreams and makes others dream. Even when he revives the magic of Hollywood nights with garments worn by movie stars and celebrities.
The exhibition brings these dream creations to Milan, the beating heart of the Armani universe, allowing everyone to see them up close and appreciate their extraordinary artisanal realization. Amid colors and shapes, sounds and fragrances, the viewer is enveloped in a sensory journey that unfolds across the entire surface of the Silos. To further enhance the garments, there will be a diffused fragrance - Bois d’Encens, emblem of the ARMANI/PRIVE Haute Couture Fragrances collection - and an original soundtrack created specifically for the exhibition by L’Antidote. The path follows a subtle guiding thread: light as a metaphorical reference to invention, and concretely as an accent that embellishes surfaces, pearly luminosity, lunar brightness, rare stones. The garments, an anthology of all Couture collections, are arranged in a sequence that emphasizes a language that, while continuing to evolve, remains steadfast in its founding principles.
