From 12 May to 28 July 2019
The Sozzani Foundation presents a selection of Don McCullin 's most iconic photographs from its own collection. Don McCullin was born in 1935, he grew up in Finsbury Park, a slum area of London. He discovers photography alone and alone he understands that misery, pain, fear, death are the only challenges that his photography can detect. His reports on the guerrillas, on the population of Biafra, on Vietnam, on Bangladesh, clarify the vision of a man who considers photojournalism a moral necessity.
