From 11 February to 5 March 2023, the Dialogue photographic exhibition offers you a dual gaze and research work that of Nella Tarantino and Francesco Tadini who hosts it in his photographic studio inside the Casa Museo Spazio Tadini. A selection of photos where each author showcases a choice of what best represents his photographic research. In Tarantino he will drag you into his chiaroscuro and his shadows, while Francesco Tadini will make you follow his movements, his light, his colors. Opening 11 February at 18.00 Casa Museo Spazio Tadini via Jommelli, 24 Milan.

Different and therefore interesting research to see together to offer the viewer a model of photography that does not aim to document, nor to adhere to reality or some form of truth or refined technical research, but simply to tell like a pen a thought, like a brush a profile, like a color a light.

The Dialogue exhibition was born from an approach to art matured by Francesco Tadini's experience. After the death of his father, Emilio Tadini, painter and writer, chose to create an exhibition and archive place for him, the Casa Museo Spazio Tadini, and to place it in dialogue with the contemporary. Francesco grew up listening to and seeing his father in dialogue with painters, writers, journalists, philosophers for whom art cannot do without confrontation. So when he approached photography from television directing, he could only do it as he had learned. He began to "dialogue" by setting up a social group PhotoMilano which today catalyzes and investigates the research of hundreds of international photographers. Now that his photographic journey has acquired a strong and recognized identity, this need for comparison has moved from online to the real world.

Nella Tarantino is one of the photographers of PhotoMilano and comes to photography from architecture. The attention to the composition, to the volumes and its relationship with the shadow are very important. She declares that for her photography is a breath, a gaze on beauty. The photo, therefore, is not the snap of a mechanical means that allows something to be shown in that moment, but the image that she tries to give to someone's breathing, perhaps even her own. On display there will be several of his shots and the book "We always return" - which has just been released - available to visitors which recounts his research.

Francesco Tadini , on the other hand, uses blurry photography, with a technique that sees him move at the moment of the shot, ready to drag the light wherever he wants. In chasing the light there is his personal account of a man who had to be reborn and get out of the dark so that some photos are real explosions of colour.
