The exhibition, curated by Roberto Mutti and Luciana Senna, exhibits for the first time 48 original photographic prints by Antonio Beato, a photographer of Venetian origin active in Egypt between 1860 and 1900. In addition to the original prints, belonging to the collections of the Touring Club Italian and also enhanced thanks to the contribution of SOS Archives, contemporary photographic albums on ancient Egypt are exhibited with photographs by A. Beato, F. Bonfils, J. Pascal Sebah, Zangaki and others, belonging to the collections of the Civico Archivio Fotografico, in curated by the curator Silvia Paoli.
