The Juan March Foundation is a foundation and cultural center in the center of Madrid: inaugurated in 1975, the building was designed by the Spanish architect José Luis Picardo and occupies about eighteen thousand square meters.
At the entrance stands a work depicting an allegory of Laocoon, the work of the Spanish artist Joaquín Vaquero Turcios.
The Foundation hosts a collection of paintings and sculptures by various Spanish artists exhibited in the gardens and its interior spaces.
Tara the artists in the collection we find Eduardo Chillida, Martín Chirino,
Rafael Leoz, Manuel Molezún, Miguel Ortiz Berrocal, José Luis Picardo, Eusebio Sempere, Pablo Serrano, Gustavo Torner and
Joaquín Vaquero Turcios.
In addition to the permanent collection, the Foundation organizes temporary exhibitions of art and culture.
