Corrie ten Boomhuis is a house museum in the city of Harleem where the story of the Ten Boom family is told.
In 1837 Willem ten Boom opened a watch shop in this same building. He lived with his family in the rooms above the shop. The house was then passed down to Willem's son, Casper, and then to Casper's daughter, Corrie. Over the years, the Ten Booms have been socially active in Haarlem.
Inside the house, the museum organizes guided tours during which you can learn more about the family and the events that took place in the Ten Boom house before and during the Second World War.
You can visit the hiding place and admire the family photographs and objects from the Second World War . The entire upper floor was used as an exhibition hall.
