The exhibitions “Giannetto Fieschi. The experience of art " hosted at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Villa Croce in Genoa from 24 February to 30 April 2022 and at the GAM Gallery of Modern Art in Genoa Nerv i from 27 February to 30 April 2022 , constitute the third and fourth stages of the great exhibition project “Giannetto Fieschi. An Anthological Exhibition " .

The exhibitions, promoted by the Municipality of Genoa and the Giannetto Fieschi Archive and curated by Andrea B. Del Guercio, want to pay homage to the illustrious painter and engraver born in Zogno in 1921 and died in Genoa in 2010; the exhibition at Villa Croce will be inaugurated on Wednesday 23 February at 4.30 pm and the exhibition at GAM Nervi on Saturday 26 February at 11.00.

Villa Croce represents with its noble floor, divided between the access staircase, the double living room and other residential environments, the ideal condition to 'reconstruct' and 'meet' the experience of Giannetto Fieschi's art; the elegant 'cut' of the architecture with the light that 'bounces' from the sea inside, suggested to the curator to make the rooms 'inhabit' through a fruition by 'immersion' in the relationship with the works and materials distributed differently, inviting the reader to live a relationship of 'familiarity'.
