After the great success of "Five minutes with Monet" at Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, the format that allows you to be face to face with the great masterpieces of art history is back. This time with the most loved artist in the world, Van Gogh.

Thousands of visitors were able to enjoy the beauty of the water lilies as never happens in museums or exhibitions: alone, in an intimate and intense relationship with the work of art. The highly successful format received an important recognition, the Cultura+Impresa 2020-2021 award.

This time it's the turn of the most beloved artist in the world, Vincent Van Gogh , of which one of his iconic works will be exhibited, Landscape with sheaves and a nascent made in Saint-Rémy-de- Provence in July 1889. In the period of greatest mental instability , Van Gogh realizes this work during his voluntary hospitalization at the asylum of Saint-Paul-de-Mausole and reproduces the panorama that he saw from the window of his cell: a wheat field, painted at each change of season, at different of the day, which will soon become the dominant subject of the works of this period and almost an obsession for him.

From next May 12th until September 10th 2023, this masterpiece will be exhibited at Palazzo Ducale in the Doge's Chapel, to be admired in solitude (or as a couple, or as a family, but in any case in an intimate and exclusive way).
