The Museum of Emigration of Piedmont in the World since 2006, the year of its creation, is housed in the headquarters specifically used with the cooperation of the City of Frossasco, the Association of Piedmont in the World, the Piedmont Region, and with the support various public and private institutions. The starting point and raison d'être of this museum, is the story of the migration of hundreds of thousands of citizens who left the Piedmontese ground to look elsewhere for their future. The study of this first, foundational element, the field of action has, over time, expanded to the study and analysis of migration flows towards Piedmont as well as current, new exodus of thousands of young Piedmontese who are trying their luck to ' abroad. This complex phenomenon of migration has contributed significantly to draw today's social and cultural connotation of the Region.
