FROM APRIL 9 TO MAY 3, 2025 the Roberto Casamonti Collection presents the artworks of Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) and Georges Braque (1882-1963).
The initiative "The return of the 20th-century masters", inaugurated in February 2025, brings back to the exhibition path some of the masterpieces from the first part of the collection "From the early 20th century to the '60s", generally not visible to the public.
Four works by Pablo Picasso, which will interact with the second part of the collection "From the '60s to the early 21st century" currently on display, covering a time span from 1922 to 1960 allowing visitors to understand different techniques and themes of the Spanish painter. They are accompanied by an oil painting on canvas from 1945 by Georges Braque, French painter and co-founder of Cubism.
