EXTENDED UNTIL SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2025

FROM JUNE 4 TO AUGUST 1, 2025 the Roberto Casamonti Collection presents four masterpieces by the masters of Metaphysics and Surrealism: Giorgio de Chirico (1888-1978) and Alberto Savinio (1891-1952) representing the Italian Avant-garde, while the works of Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) and Max Ernst (1891-1976) are added to the surrealist one of Joan Mirò (1893-1983) already exhibited in the Collection.

The initiative "The return of the 20th-century masters", inaugurated in February 2025, brings back to the exhibition path some of the masterpieces of the first part of the collection "From the early 20th century to the 60s", which have not been visible to the public in recent years.

The four works, which will interact with the second part of the collection "From the 60s to the early 21st century" currently on display, will allow visitors to approach two of the most influential historical Avant-gardes of the first half of the 20th century
