FROM JANUARY 13, 2025 TO MARCH 7, 2026, the Roberto Casamonti Collection exhibits two masterpieces by the Italian painter Giacomo Balla (1871-1958): Great black evening at the Salone Margherita. Black evening, a work from around 1903-04 with a taste still divisionist before the arrival of mature Futurism, represented by "Idealfiamma", an oil on canvas from 1929.
The initiative "The return of the masters of the 20th century", inaugurated in February 2025, brings back to the exhibition path some of the masterpieces from the first part of the collection "From the early 20th century to the 60s", which have not been visible to the public in recent years.
