The show

Know the complexity of life on Earth thanks to art . This is the goal of “ Animals from A to Z ”, the next exhibition scheduled at the Pinacoteca Nazionale in Ferrara , one of the headquarters of the Estensi Galleries . The exhibition, scheduled from 4 October to 8 January 2023 , speaks in particular to young visitors, who thanks to a selection of 40 works coming mainly from the collection of the Royal Museums of Turin will be able to learn a special artistic and natural alphabet, having fun with all the family. Curated by Rosario Maria Anzalone and Enrica Pagella, the exhibition proposes a new format for the Estensi Galleries: a playful path in which the little ones will have to identify the animals through some riddles.

Each child will have a notebook to write down the guessed works with letters and drawings. An exhibition that can also be enjoyed by the adult public, who will have the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful works from the Turin collection, as well as a selection of works from the Estensi Galleries and some loans from the Civic Museum of Ancient Art in Palazzo Madama. The special exhibition will allow young and old to reflect on environmental issues that are urgent at this historical moment, in line with the principles of the UN 2030 Agenda, which calls everyone to an ever stronger sense of responsibility towards our Planet. .
