The Concordiese National Museum in collaboration with the L&A Association (Languages and Art), promoter of contemporary art exhibitions at the exhibition spaces of the Portogruaro Museum, is pleased to welcome in the evocative setting of the Basilica Apostolorum of the archaeological area under the Concordia Sagittaria Cathedral, the exhibition "from Sculpture to Photography" by the artist Claude Andreini .

On display:

SCULPTURES : terracotta, semi-refractory clay, dedicated to the female figure, expressed with fluid masses and lines. The coloring is cold applied, based on natural pigments, shellac and talcum powder.

PHOTO: A first series entitled Participatory art highlights the relationship between the works on display and those who approach them. The second series Arte Esposta reorganizes the exhibited works, involving them with the environment in which they are seen or exhibited.

Technically, the shots are mostly made with an old low-definition photographic medium, due to "the rejection of the bursting and continuous technological exasperation that enhances the performance of the medium more than the hand that has to manage it" and "for the quality poor technology of the medium that offers images charged with an ambiguity between photography and painting \ graphics ”, stimulating thought through doubt.

The images are then printed on heavy drawing paper, soaked in a solution that makes it less permeable, adding material elements during its application. After printing there is the manual processing of the image, with the application of colors, waxes, inks, transparencies or the elimination of part of the image. In this way the uniqueness of each piece is guaranteed.
