The exhibition, in collaboration with the max Museo di Chiasso and the Manuela Grignani Sirtoli Archive, presents about 50 photographic works by the artist and graphic artist Franco Grignani (1908-1999), most of them coming from the Museum's collections, together with others kindly made available by the artist's heirs.

The exhibition returns a thirty-year research path that crosses the boundaries between disciplines and places Grignani among the masters of Italian visual culture of the 60s and 70s.
The attention that Grignani dedicates to photography constitutes a fundamental stage for the development of other artistic languages, from the initial photographic experimentation to advertising graphics, up to Optical Art .
