Epistolary collection of completely unpublished postcards and letters - recently found and kept by his great-grandson Umberto de Paolis - addressed by Luchino Visconti, Count Giuseppe Visconti di Modrone and Carla Erba to Lorenzo de Paolis, Luchino's cello teacher between 1917 and 1924.

The correspondence, which covers a period of time from 1917 to 1965, describes affectionate exchanges and moments of everyday life and allows us to delve into unpublished and little-known aspects of Luchino's life and educational experience before he became the famous director known to all.
