Marta Czok Permanent Collection Museum

The Marta Czok Foundation Museum was opened in the historic center of Castel Gandolfo, Rome, in 2021 and houses the Permanent Collection of Marta Czok's institutional works ranging from the early 1980s until now. Presented in an anthological exhibition, the Collection is divided into thematic areas: History Revisited or Prologue welcomes the viewer with ironic references to the very concept of "History", while the visit then unfolds through rooms dedicated to the Eternal City , to the Complex of Napoleon , the rich section entitled the Way of Power , and then Tracce di Guerra , the recent paintings dedicated to contemporary art collected in the section But is it Art? , and finally the room entitled People which in fact could represent all of Marta Czok 's work since the artist, in her paintings, analyzes the human dimension in all its facets. All the main themes covered by Marta Czok during her career are therefore proposed through some of her most emblematic works.
