Villa Forni Cerato is a Venetian villa in the province of Vicenza designed in 1565 by architect Andrea Palladio, since 1996 has been included in the Heritage List by UNESCO. The state of conservation of the building unfortunately is in jeopardy as it pours into a state of abandon. Villa Forni Cerato represents an exemplary case of Palladian intervention on an existing building, transformed even with modest means in a significant monumental episode. This villa, designed by Palladio, was commissioned by a wealthy merchant of Girolamo Forni wood and a great collector of antiquities and a member of the Olympic Academy of Vicenza.
