Art Forum Würth, the exhibition space in Capena, was created together with the project of the Würth headquarters in 2005 and inaugurated in 2006. Like the other 15 museums, galleries and exhibition spaces of the Würth Group in Europe, it is due to the will of Prof. Dr. hc mult. Reinhold Würth to make the works of art in the collection he founded available to both company employees and the public outside. Each temporary exhibition is accompanied by a series of cultural and educational activities. The offer also includes workshops, meetings with artists, concerts, theatrical performances, screenings, competitions, workshops for adults and all those events that can contribute to enhancing the current exhibitions and enriching the cultural offer of the territory. The Würth Collection, begun in the 1960s by Reinhold Würth, mainly includes works of art from the 20th and 21st centuries and, to date, has over 18,200 works of painting, graphics and sculpture. In more recent times, one of the most important art collections of German and Swiss painting of the 15th and 16th centuries has been acquired, which belonged to the Princes von Fürstenberg.
