The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Calais preserves a rich collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs, from the 16th century to the present day. An entire room of the museum is dedicated to the sculptor Rodin, in particular to his studies for the statuary group "I Borghesi di Calais". The collection also features works by artists such as Gerrit van Honthorst, Balthasar van der Ast, Frans Snyders, Giuseppe Recco, Alessandro Magnasco, Pierre-Antoine Patel, Eugène Boudin, Maurice Marinot, Pierre Hodé, Pablo Picasso (with the work "Le Vieil Homme "of 1970), and the École de Paris with Raymond Warrior. The museum organizes a temporary exhibition every year.
