The Negri Foundation was born from the desire to promote the photographic heritage accumulated over 100 years of activity by Studio Negri. Thanks to the work of photographers Giovanni Negri, Umberto Negri, Constantine Squassoni and Mauro Squassoni, September 6, 1993 was born in Brescia the Negri Foundation. The Foundation's main objective is to promote, preserve and catalog the photographic collection consists of tens of thousands of images. Element of great innovation is the digital archive: an online accessible database where you can view and study the photographic materials made available by the Foundation. Of particular interest are the industrial and advertising photographs from the early twentieth century that are very much part of the archive. Today, the Foundation hosts temporary exhibitions to promote dialogue between past and present.
