Born from a collaboration between the curators of the eighth edition of the Biennale Gherdëina Filipa Ramos and Lucia Pietroiusti and the Museion team , the Welcoming Persones Persons exhibition anticipates the themes of the Biennale starting from a selection of works from the museum's collection.

The exhibition celebrates the views and practices that unite Nature and Landscape and that give life to the curatorial proposal of the Biennale characterized by two complementary lines of research: one that considers the forms of legal personality and not of Nature, questioning the way in which the art contributes to the recognition of the rights of the Earth; the other dedicated to ancient and future memories of the routes, migration systems, seasonal displacements and transhumance of people, animals, plants and materials in the Alpine region.

The works chosen in the museum's collection, through different formal languages, generations and geographies of artists and artists, respond in their peculiarities to these themes. The graphic and chromatic concept chosen for the spaces of Museion and for those of the Cubo Garutti, in which the project extends, underlines the collaboration between the two institutions and is the result of the joint work of Studio Hund (Bolzano-Milan) and the artist Giles Round, both invited by the Biennale. The collaboration will also continue in Ortisei with some works from the Museion collection in dialogue with the works of the participants in the Biennale Gherdëina ∞.

With Welcoming Persones Persons, the museum emphasizes the attention to the territory that characterizes the entire program of Museion Passage and gives its collection an international and transversal reading, stimulated by the curatorial line of the Biennale Gherdëina.
