Starting from the historical and geopolitical peculiarities of Alto Adige/Südtirol, Somatechnics extends the reflection launched by the politician and activist Alexander Langer who, during the 1980s and 1990s, fought against the emergence of nativism and ethno-nationalism in the territory between Austria and Italy, proposing to address the ethnic conflict in this region as a prism through which to read the present and future challenges posed by cohabitation in contemporary Europe.
