Sharing stories , impressions and opinions by being together outdoors, perhaps tasting, nibbling different foods : Cristian Chironi's project is inspired by the spirit of the picnic. From next October 3, for the whole month, the artist will use the space of the Piccolo Museion - Garutti's Cube as his studio, inviting the public to enter into dialogue directly, but also through performances, meetings and workshops, carried out in collaboration with various institutions of the territory. The meaning of being and inhabiting a place, but also of traveling through different geographies are at the center of the artist's practice, who conceives his work primarily as a physical challenge.

The project for the Cube therefore begins with a journey, the one the artist will make from Orani (NU) to Bolzano aboard his Fiat 127 Special (Camaleonte). This very special car will also be the vehicle for his first “Bolzano Drive” performance, during which Chironi will make a series of tours through Bolzano on Saturday 3 October.
