The show

Bologna, 22 May 2020 - The signature of the Prime Minister's Decree in force since 18 May also reopens the doors of the Church of Santa Maria della Vita in Bologna, famous for the sculptural complex of the Lamentation over the Dead Christ by Niccolò dell'Arca, which houses the Oratory since February 15th “Women. A changing world ”, photographic exhibition curated by National Geographic in collaboration with Genus Bononiae. Museums in the city and Carisbo Foundation: a journey through images on the female condition that crosses every latitude and 100 years of women's history, seen through the lens of - and - the great reporters of the National Geographic Society.

Given the extraordinary success recorded in the weeks immediately preceding the lockdown, the exhibition will be extended until 13 September: reservations will not be necessary, but as a result of the measures to contain the health emergency, access will be allowed to a maximum of 60 people at a time, so as to ensure the right physical distance between people and allow visitors to visit it in total safety. Another novelty is the opening of the exhibition also on Mondays starting from 1 June (until that date the entry times will be Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 19.00).
