Bologna, 22 May 2020 - The signing of the DPCM in force since 18 May also reopens the doors of the Church of Santa Maria della Vita in Bologna , famous for the sculptural complex of Lamentation over the Dead Christ by Niccolò dell'Arca, which in the Oratory houses since last February 15th “Women. A changing world ” , photographic exhibition curated by National Geographic in collaboration with Genus Bononiae . Museums in the city and the Carisbo Foundation: a journey through images on the condition of women that crosses every latitude and 100 years of women's history, seen from the lens of - and of - the great reporters of the National Geographic Society.
Given the extraordinary success recorded in the weeks immediately preceding the lockdown, the exhibition is extended until next September 13 : no reservation will be required, but due to the measures to contain the health emergency, access will be allowed to a maximum of 60 people at a time, in order to ensure the right physical distance between people and allow visitors to visit it in total safety. Another novelty, the opening of the exhibition also on Mondays starting from 1 June (until that date the entrance times will be from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 19.00).
