The show

The exhibition, curated by Massimo Bignardi (professor of Contemporary Art History, University of Siena) and Nuccia Barbone Pugliese (director of the National Gallery of Puglia), offers a selected choice of drawings, paintings, gouaches, sketches for scenographies created by artist over about ten years, from the end of the fifties to 1968, the year of his tragic death not yet thirty-three, and coming mainly from the Battista collection, as well as from other Apulian collectors.

The exhibition is promoted by the Polo Museale of Puglia, by the National Gallery of Puglia, with the patronage of the Municipality of Bitonto and the Pino Pascali Museum Foundation in Polignano a Mare.
