The Futurium is a house of the future. It offers its visitors insights into the world of tomorrow. Basically, everything revolves around the big question How do we want to live?.
One thing we know for sure today: In the future we will have to master major challenges. How can we get climate change under control? Which technologies do we want to use in the future? Does technology serve us – or do we serve technology? How do we want to live together as a society?
In the exhibition, visitors can discover many possible futures in three permanent so-called thinking spaces: human, nature and technology. In the forum, visitors can take part in open panel discussions and talks. And in the Futurium Lab, everyone can get involved, try out new ideas and take part in experiments, for example developing prototypes in workshops or trying out 3D printers in a media lab.
The Futurium aims to inspire all of its visitors to engage with and help shape the future.
