The Museo Greco dell’Automobile in Athens is one of the most fascinating attractions in the capital for motor and design enthusiasts. Located near the National Archaeological Museum, the museum houses a rich collection of over 110 historic cars, which tell the story of the evolution of the automotive industry from the 19th century to today.
Founded by Theodore Charagionis, the museum displays rare and perfectly restored cars from legendary brands such as Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Porsche, Maserati, Jaguar, and Mercedes-Benz. Each car is accompanied by detailed information about the model's history, design, and technical innovations.
A part of the exhibition is dedicated to vehicles that have made history in Greece, with unique models and memorabilia from the automotive world. The museum also offers interactive experiences, such as a Formula 1 driving simulator, making it particularly interesting for families and visitors of all ages.
The Museo Greco dell’Automobile is not only a celebration of mechanics and design but also a place to understand the evolution of mobility and technology through the centuries.
