1 June 2024
On the occasion of the celebrations for the centenary of the death of Eleonora Duse, the municipality of Asolo inaugurated "A House for Eleonora", the new section of the Civic Museum dedicated to the actress. The narrative nuclei of the exhibition are the starting point for the guided tours and for the new events "A tea at Eleonora's house", during which participants will converse with experts and scholars, in a welcoming and evocative environment.
At the end of the meeting, tea, coffee and, in collaboration with CNA Asolo, the Ghisola cake, inspired by Eleonora Duse, will be offered.
Below you will find the meeting programme:
“A painter at the theatre: Natalja Goncharova is a set designer for Eleonora Duse?”
Saturday 1 June, 5pm , Marzia Maino, professor of History of Scenography (University of Padua), will explore, with the participants, the theme of Natalja Goncharova's set designs for Duse and their human and working relationship.
